A deceased street musician returns to life, and must restore the balance between good and evil to be reunited with his dead girlfriend. Eric Draven, a musician, and his girlfriend are killed. Draven returns to life as an undead mime, with psychic powers and a spirit guide (a crow). He first avenges his and his girlfriend's deaths, but finds that he must remain on Earth, separate from her, until he restores the balance between good and evil. After watching the REAL Crow, if you watch the "The Crow series", you just want to cry… It is freaking ridiculous! Don't watch that!! You'll want to suicide, it is really a bad remake… All the mystery, the dark side of all the story is completely destroyed! That series was a real mistake… Even the special effects in the first movie, filmed 4 years earlier, were better than these ones. Plus, the actors doesn't fit in the story, the casting director is really a clown, or he was doped when he chose the actors. The producer certainly gave the budget of the film to the casting director for buying his dope, or he really doesn't know how to manage a budget..Don't pay for this dumb TV series, don't even borrow them from someone, you'd really want to cry! I did not expect to like this series; I generally have not been very impressed with extensions of films, comics, and the like. But when I first stumbled across an episode, I was immediately intrigued by the intensity of the dual Crow/Eric personae, and as I saw more episodes I became impressed with the depth of interaction between the lead characters. Mark Dacascos and Marc Gomes (two very fine actors) have developed an amazing chemistry that is a pleasure to watch in itself, and the supporting cast are real people, not just the usual spear carriers and ciphers. The character continuity is outstanding and fuels the series far more than does the Plot of the Week. Thanks to these factors, this is presently the *only* series that keeps my attention all the way through every episode.
